Hello,
I'm trying the demo version of nthusim with the next setup:
2x nvidia gtx260 in sli
two projectors.(1024x768)
nthusim plus demo
I cannot switch to the 2048x768 resolution using nvidia surround. The nvidia panel control surround option is hide until connect a third projector.
I want my setup has only DUAL head (two projectors), and without using softth solution.
Is nthusim plus cappable to do that in any way?
After playing around for several days with a NVIDIA + MViewer configuration I really do just suggest getting the third projector instead. There are a whole bunch of compatibility issues with games and nonstandard dual-display resolutions. All the multi-display enabled games tended to expect triple-display resolutions and many of them did not like the fact that I was only using dual. To deviate even further away in already a highly specialized setup makes for more headaches than you probably want to deal with. I truly suggest just get the third projector and use standard NVIDIA 3D Vision Surround. I had to fight my setup constantly the last few days dealing with dual-display specific issues that simply don't exist on a standard triple-display setup. Given the grief that I went through fighting configurations, it's worth it just to get the third projector. I outright gave up on a few games that are my favorites in the dual-display configuration it was so frustrating.
Thanks for taking the time to investigate this topic. Often the simplest of things is way more complicated than expected so I am sure this will be helpful to many and save a lot of time.
We had a similar experience yesterday setting up Nthusim on a new screen which took a few minutes. It then took half a day try to get a Logitech steering wheel working ...... but gave up!
I only have experience with the Fanatec PWTS wheel. Was it a G27?
It was pre-G25 ..... can't find the model number. For some reason DiRT would pick it up, but not Grid. Working through the titles! rFactor next, which I'm sure will have better integration.

I appologize in my delay in replying to this. I was out of town doing an airshow event in Dallas Ft. Worth area this weekend and am just now catching up on things.
A bit of bad news about dual-projector and NVIDIA Surround. NVIDIA Surround only does triple-display configurations, they don't have a dual-display option available. Only AMD Eyefinity enabled cards can do dual-display spanning mode. There are three options available to you.
#1 Option: Purchase a third projector.
#2 Option: Sell your NVIDIA cards and get a AMD cards.
#3 Option: Purchase a Matrox Dual Head 2 Go Digital box to enable dual-display while still using NVIDIA cards.
There are several contributing factors involved that make up this issue. But the primary problem is that NVIDIA only will allow for 3-display spanning mode for games. AMD has gone leaps and bounds futher in their options when it comes to multi-display gaming. SoftTH and NTHUSIM Plus both use simular methods to enable, so they are incompatible with eachother. You can use either SoftTH or NTHUSIM, but you can't use both at once.
Any of the options require a bit of money to accomplish, but if I was to select an option I'd pick option #3 or #2 in your situation. I often do dual-projector setup and it works great. Really, there is no true need for the third projector unless you want a really wide 180 degree aspect ratio. You'll still be able to achieve at least 120 degree with dual-projector. The edge blend on the center field of view works out fine once you get everything all dialed in.
